Barb Scherer brings 30+ years of experience to her role as Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Fun Spot, where she’s evolving the company’s marketing team and programs into the digital era. Her career includes extensive advertising agency experience, working with major brands like Diet Coke, Sonny’s BBQ, Florida Lottery and Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Transitioning to corporate marketing in 2012, Barb most recently served as SVP/CMO at Badcock Home Furniture &more (2018-2023). She’s been recognized with the AAF Silver Medal Award (2005) and AMA Central Florida Marketer of the Year Award (2010). Barb is active in industry leadership, non-profit boards and serves on the Advisory Council for UF’s College of Journalism and Communications’ Advertising Program. She spends her spare time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, listening to country music, watching sports, or at the beach.
